Ahhhhh, Thanksgiving. There is just so much to be thankful for. Family, friends, and food – it doesn’t get better than that. Delicious turkey with gravy, stuffing, potatoes, and desserts. The only unfortunate part about Thanksgiving dinner is that wheat flour is used in almost every dish. It’s a menu enough to cause nightmares to anyone who has Celiac or gluten intolerance.
But not anymore.
Even though the turkey is the star attraction Thanksgiving just wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without all of the fabulous side dishes – which of course are packed with gluten. Last year I prepared my first Thanksgiving meal 100% gluten and dairy free. Even our good friends who joined us for dinner didn’t feel like they missed anything. At least that’s what they told me when going for second helpings – you know who you are!
If you are looking for a gluten free Thanksgiving dinner menu, look no further, it’s all right here. Just click the link in the menu and it will open the recipe. By the way, these recipes are EASY. Beware savvy chefs and bakers out there, some even come with prepared mixes – gasp!
Yes, it’s true. And there’s no shame in it because they are good! Living gluten free doesn’t have to be complicated. I’m all about making it easy on myself and all of you.
Enjoy. And have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
